Bookings made more than 8 weeks before arrival require a deposit of £50.00 or one night's charge for bookings of less than £50.00. Balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. Deposits are non-refundable. 2. Bookings made less than 8 weeks before arrival require full payment at time of booking. CONFIRMATIONS3. The booking will be confirmed by CityBound upon receipt of deposit, or full payment if within 8 weeks of departure. Accommodation Vouchers will be dispatched upon receipt of full payment. CANCELLATIONS AND ALTERATIONS4. By CityBound. It is unlikely that we would have to make any changes to your booking, but in the event of this happening, we would offer an alternative hotel of the same or higher standard in the same location, or offer a full refund if preferred. 5. By the Client. Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to arrival at hotel will incur a cancellation charge of 50% of one night's rate. Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival, will incur a cancellation charge of 100% of one night's rate. Notice of cancellation must made in writing to CityBound. Alterations to a booking to be confirmed in writing. Amendment charges may apply. SPECIAL REQUESTS6.These will be passed to the Hotel but cannot be guaranteed. CHILDREN7. Reductions may apply to a child sharing a room with two adults. In order to qualify for any reduction we must receive dates of birth of any children so booked. CURRENCIES8. We reserve the right to make alterations to these rates if the relevant currency fluctuates by more than 3%. PRIVACY9. In order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements, we need to use the information you provide. Upon making a reservation or confirmation of a purchase, we may need to provide the same information about you to the airline, hotel or tour operator or any other involved third party to ensure the successful completion of your travel arrangements. The information may also be provided to security or credit checking companies, public authorities such as customs/immigration if required by them, or as required by law. We take full responsibility for ensuring that proper security measures are in place to protect your information. Additionally where your travel is outside the European Economic Area (EEA), controls on data protection in your destination may not be as strong as the legal requirements in this country. If we cannot pass this information to the relevant suppliers, whether in the EEA or not, we cannot provide your booking. In making any booking with CityBound, you consent to this information being passed onto the relevant persons. Usually the airlines, hotel, tour operator or other travel provider will pass this information onto their suppliers once we have provided it to them. The principals use of your information is subject to their policy, both in respect of your booking and any future marketing, and is their responsibility. We do not sell individual customer names or other private profile information to third parties. However, if you provide information to another site hyperlinked to this website, the privacy standards of such other sites will apply and CityBound will not be held liable for their use of the information. As a user of this site you may occasionally receive updates from us about special offers, CityBound services and news which we hope you will find useful. If you do not wish to receive this information, please inform us whilst booking. You have the right of access to any data about you held by CityBound although CityBound may make a small charge for providing this to you. PASSPORT, VISA AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS10. The carrying of the appropriate travel documents, including valid passport, health documents and, where appropriate, the necessary visas is the responsibility of the traveller. You must pay all costs incurred in obtaining such documentation. CityBound expressly declines responsibility for any and all costs incurred in the case that a traveller or party are denied boarding to an aircraft, or denied entry to a country because the traveller or party is not in possession of the appropriate documentation, visa or vaccination requirements. For British citizens, a full ten-year passport is required to travel to all destinations. British passport holders also require a visa for a number of destinations. You are strongly advised to check with the relevant Consulate whether a visa is required. If you or any member of your party is not a British citizen or holds a non-British passport, you must check passport and visa requirements with the Embassy or Consulate of the country(ies) to or through which you are intending to travel, and with British immigration for re-entry into Britain. Requirements may change and you must check the up-to-date position in good time before departure. If failure to have any necessary travel or other documents results in a fine, surcharges or other financial penalty being imposed on us or any supplier, you will be responsible for reimbursement. The Foreign and Commonwealth Travel Advice Unit may issue information about your holiday destination. You are advised to check for any announcements on the internet at www.fco.gov.uk. Passengers should ensure that they comply with health requirements, such as vaccinations, for the country they are visiting. CityBound cannot be held responsible for failure to meet these requirements. CONDITIONS9. This contract is made on the terms of these Booking Conditions which are governed by English Law and the English Courts shall have sole jurisdiction. All Bookings are accepted by CityBound subject to these conditions and any other conditions, bylaws, and regulations at any time imposed by other companies in respect of the Accommodation booked. |
